St. Francis de Sales: A Community with Faith and Knowledge that Serves.

1/31- Pancake Breakfast

 

2/1 – Proud to be a Community: Morning Spirit Ceremony: prayer and spirit stick activities. At Lunch Recess students will contribute to a banner for the hall. “Being a member of the St. Francis Community means_____” and students will wear uniforms.

 

2/2-Proud to Serve in the Souper Bowl! – Students can wear a sports jersey to school with jeans (blue or black) if they bring a can of soup to school for a donation to the church pantry. The jersey can be school, college or professional. Sleeveless jersey must have a t-shirt on underneath. The Class with the most “touchdowns” (participation) will receive the championship ring!

Skate Night in the evening with OLPH (please see flyer for further information)

 

2/3 Proud to Walk in our Faith- Students will contribute to the Bishops Walk for life by donating a dollar to wear jeans (blue or black) to school. Lunch Recess: students will work on a thank you to those who give us knowledge.

 

2/4 Proud to share the Knowledge: Students can wear college T-shirt or sweatshirt from any college with uniform, but no sports jerseys. Classes will share information from the college their class has chosen to look into over the week. No more than 5 facts or reasons to attend that school. A student from each class will participate in a game of “I Know More About St. Francis de Sales than You” A list of facts about St. Francis as well as the school will be handed out to the students to study over the week. List will go home Friday 1/29 each teacher will have a contest in his or her room to narrow it down to one representative per class, and they will participate in the game in front of the school. This will be an afternoon assembly. The time will be announced next week.
